Children left without parental care in Russia returned to Uzbekistan

1766With the assistance of diplomats from Uzbekistan’s Consulate General in Saint Petersburg, 16 underage children left without parental care in Russia have been returned to Uzbekistan. This was reported by “Dunyo.”
It was stated that the children’s parents had been placed in temporary detention centers for foreign citizens awaiting deportation to Uzbekistan due to violations of Russian migration laws. The children were handed over to relatives, orphanages, and other institutions.
Uzbek diplomats, accompanied by representatives from Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, ensured the safe return of the children to the country.
For reference, over the past three months, 84 children have been repatriated to Uzbekistan from abroad.
Earlier, a similar case occurred in Saint Petersburg, where 16 underage Uzbek citizens were returned to the country with the help of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Health.
