Earlier, it was reported that there is no shortage of AI-80 gasoline in the republic and the price has not been increased.  However now, the price of gasoline for cars is not 6,800 soms, but 7,000-7,100 soms on the signs in some gas stations.  To clarify this situation, QALAMPIR.UZ contacted the press secretary of "Uzbekneftegaz" joint-stock company Siyovush Hoshimov.

According to the secretary, all the increased gasoline prices belong to private AFFC.

Gasoline prices have not been artificially increased in AFFC owned by "Uzbekneftegaz."  No one has the right to change the price of gasoline at AFFC owned by "Uzbekneftegaz."  "Private stations determine the price of gasoline themselves," says Hoshimov.

He also said that "Uzbekneftegaz" will not be able to show any resistance to the private Automobile Fuel Filling Company.  If there are cases of artificially increasing the price at the branches owned by Uzbekneftgaz, measures will be taken against them.

"The increase in the price of private gas stations will have a direct impact on the gas stations owned by Uzbekneftgaz, including the possibility of creating long queues," said the press secretary.

Hashimov said that consumers who witnessed a shortage of gasoline at the gas stations belonging to Uzbekneftgaz, and the artificial increase in the price of gasoline can leave a complaint within 24 hours using phone number (71) 200-01-24.
