The submission phase of the second season of the “Initiative Budget” process for 2025 has officially started today, July 15, on the “Initiative Budget” portal. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
According to the announcement, the timeline for the second season is as follows:
- Project submission stage – July 15 to August 3
- Selection stage – August 4 to 18
- Promotion stage – August 19 to 21
- Voting stage – August 22 to 31
“Show initiative in solving existing problems in your region. Be active,” the ministry’s statement urges.
Winners of the second season will be announced on September 1, which coincides with Independence Day.
The ministry also noted that 823 neighborhoods that won in the second season of 2024 or the first season of 2025 (but not in both seasons consecutively) will be placed on a break for the upcoming second season of 2025 and the first season of 2026.
These neighborhoods, including their schools, kindergartens, medical institutions, and other organizations, will not be eligible to submit projects during the next two seasons.
The full list of neighborhoods on break can be found on the “Initiative Budget” portal at the following link: list.
If there are any changes to the list of winners, updated information on neighborhoods under the break policy will be published on the official websites of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the “Initiative Budget” portal before each season begins.
For reference, due to the rejection of project submissions for the first season of 2025, the following mahallas will not be subject to the break: Dashtbog in Namangan city, Nurafshon in Kagan city, and Begjap in Shumanay district.
