Ombudsman prosecutes 142 officials

An inspection of the control of the agro-industrial complex and its subsystems conducted by the Business-Ombudsman found that the rights of business entities were violated in 1,044 cases. This is reported by the press service under the Ombudsman.

It is noted that in 815 cases, legislative requirements related to inspections of business entities were violated. By regions:

- Jizzakh region – 660 cases;
- Syrdarya Region - 28;
- Andijan Region - 27;
- Fergana region - 20;
- Samarkand region - 10;
- Tashkent region - 8;
- Bukhara region - 7;
- Khorezm region - 3;
- The Republic of Karakalpakstan - 52 cases of violation of the law were recorded.

Violations were also committed in 198 cases when considering applications of business entities. In addition, legal requirements and deadlines for the provision of public services to entrepreneurs were not met in 31 cases.

Administrative records had been drawn up for 142 officials who had committed such violations.

At the same time, the control inspection of the agro-industrial complex introduced the idea of eliminating shortcomings, their prevention in the future, and taking appropriate measures to support entrepreneurship in all aspects.
