Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Great Britain to Uzbekistan, Timothy Smart, congratulated Diyora Keldiyorova, who won the gold medal in judo at the Paris Olympics. He tweeted about it on his X (Twitter) page.
"My warmest congratulations to Uzbekistan and Diyora Keldiyorova! It is not only the first Olympic gold won by and Uzbek female athlete at the Summer Olympics, it is a medal which shows all girls in Uzbekistan, that they can achieve anything they want! Olgʻa, Oʻzbekiston!" he published.
It is noteworthy that the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, also congratulated Diyora Keldiyorova, the winner of the gold medal in judo, by phone.
