Official welcoming ceremony for Mirziyoyev was held in Okorda

Today, on August 8, an official welcoming ceremony for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, was held at the residence of Kazakhstan's Okorda. This was reported by the President's press service.

"An honor guard was assembled in honor of the high-ranking guest. The national anthems of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan were played. The leaders of the two countries passed in front of the guard of honor, and a photograph was taken together," the report stated.

It was noted that currently, a narrow range of negotiations between the heads of state is taking place. The parties are discussing urgent issues related to the further development and deepening of strategic partnership and alliance relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

It should be reminded that earlier it was reported that Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan had agreed to implement investment projects and trade agreements worth 7 billion dollars.
