The president dons a white coat and gets acquainted with the situation of sick children at the hospital

Today 17 June, the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the new center of pediatric hematology, oncology, and clinical immunology.  This was stated by the press secretary of president’s administration Sherzod Asadov.

“The head of state, like all visitors, began to get acquainted with the conditions in the center, putting protective leather on his shoes and wearing a white coat”, - the statement said.

It was noted that physicians of the center told the president about the results that they had obtained in their fields of work and their impressions of the current conditions. 
The head of state also talked with children and their parents, who are receiving treatment in the new center for pediatric hematology, oncology, and clinical immunology.

Today, Shavkat Mirziyoyev is expected to hold a meeting to discuss the work carried out in the field of onco-hematology and the results achieved, further improvement of maternal and child health, as well as the implementation of tasks set in the dialogue with medical personnel.
