A video circulating on social media has revealed the fraudulent activities of a company that deceived citizens with promises of employment in Europe. The Agency for External Labor Migration has provided official information regarding the case.
According to the agency, an investigation was launched following a complaint against “Adworld Group” LLC, which had been offering overseas employment services without a license. The company advertised job opportunities in countries such as Montenegro, Serbia, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, Norway, Oman, and Japan, claiming to provide consultation services. In reality, it was operating as an unlicensed employment agency, violating the Law “On Private Employment Agencies.”
“The illegal activities of this company were actively promoted by popular bloggers on social media. Their false endorsements created a sense of trust among the public, leading many to pay for the company’s services—only to be defrauded,” the agency reported.
As a result of the investigation, the Migration Agency fined “Adworld Group” LLC 112.5 million soums. Since the company failed to pay the fine voluntarily, legal proceedings have been initiated to recover the amount.
The agency has urged citizens seeking employment abroad to consult only with the Migration Agency or officially licensed private employment firms.
“Do not trust advertisements on Telegram or Instagram claiming ‘Work in Europe’ or ‘Go to Japan.’ If you do, your money and legal rights may be at risk,” the agency warned.
Previously, a separate case in Tashkent saw a security guard detained after attempting to recruit citizens for airport jobs. He was found to have defrauded nearly ten people.
