A new governor takes office in Ohangaron

Erkin Madorbekovich Muhiddinov has been appointed as the governor of the Ohangaron district in the Tashkent region. This information was reported by the district administration's information service.

Today, on August 12, an extraordinary 86th session of the Ohangaron District Council of People's Deputies was convened. The session was attended by Gafur Mirzayev, State Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Zoyir Mirzayev, the governor of the Tashkent region.

During the meeting, Erkin Madorbekovich Muhiddinov was officially appointed as the governor of the Ohangaron district.

Before assuming this role, he had served as the Deputy Minister of Poverty Alleviation and Employment.

Born in 1976 in the city of Andijan, Andijan region, Erkin Muhiddinov graduated from the Andijan Institute of Economic Management in 1997, the Academy of Banking and Finance in 2000, and the Higher School of the Institute of Developing Economies (IDEAS-JETRO, Japan) in 2007.

Abdurasul Nematovich Abdullayev, the former district governor, was relieved of his duties and transferred to a new position.
