The Competition Committee of the Republic of Karakalpakstan investigated the compliance of tenders conducted by "Nukus International Airport" LLC with legal requirements and identified violations of the law. This was reported by the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights.
"The investigation revealed that the tenders conducted by the LLC, amounting to 120,000,000 soums through the State Procurement portal, did not comply with the requirements of the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan on "State Procurement" and "Competition", the report states.
As a result, a special commission of the committee initiated a case against "Nukus International Airport" LLC for violating the Law "On Competition" and Regulation No. 225 of the Cabinet of Ministers.
It is worth noting that a fine was previously imposed on "Amudaryotex" LLC for violating the law in the sale of highly liquid and monopolistic products.
