26922Uzhydromet has published the weather forecasts for November, indicating that the average air temperature will be 6-7 degrees lower than in October, with a drop of 8-9 degrees expected in northern and desert regions.
November is characterized by sharp fluctuations in air temperature, particularly in contrast to the beginning of the autumn season. In the first half of the month, the average daytime temperatures will range from 15 to 20 degrees Celsius, occasionally reaching up to 22-27 degrees. In the second half, temperatures are expected to drop to 10-15 degrees Celsius.
The absolute maximum temperatures recorded throughout meteorological observations have ranged from 30-33 degrees Celsius, with 26-28 degrees in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm Region, and Fergana Valley. Historically, the coldest November temperatures, before the mid-20th century, dropped to between 19-24 degrees Celsius, with northern regions experiencing temperatures as low as 25-27 degrees and the extreme south between 10-15 degrees.
In recent years, such severe frosts have not been observed in November. This century, the lowest recorded temperatures were between 10-15 degrees in the south, 20-25 degrees in the north, and 26-28 degrees in Ustyurt.
The first snow cover typically forms in mountainous regions during this month. In lower altitudes, the snow cover remains unstable, while at altitudes above 2000 meters, the snow can reach a height of 25-40 cm by month’s end. November begins this year with hot and mostly dry weather.
From November 1-3, predominantly rainless weather is expected across the republic, although light rain may occur in parts of the Tashkent region on November 2 during the night and morning. Temperatures will gradually rise, reaching daytime highs of 20-25 degrees by November 3.
Starting from November 4, wet and cold air masses will move into Uzbekistan, bringing rain to various regions. Daytime temperatures will drop to 10-15 degrees, remaining warmer in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm Region, while the rest of the country will experience cooler weather.
From November 5, these wet and cold air masses will extend across all regions of Uzbekistan. As temperatures fall, rainfall is expected from November 5-8 throughout the republic, with occasional rain in the eastern regions on November 9-10 (with snow possible in mountainous areas).
As the first ten days of November progress, nighttime temperatures will range from 3-8 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will hover between 7-12 degrees Celsius.
In the second and third ten-day periods of November, nighttime temperatures are expected to vary between 0-5 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs will reach 10-15 degrees. However, there may be periods of warmth, with daytime temperatures rising to 17-20 degrees Celsius. Some days in these periods are expected to see precipitation in the form of rain.
