Nicaragua appoints its first ambassador to Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, welcomed Tatiana Daniela Garcia Silva as the first ambassador of Nicaragua to Uzbekistan. The minister announced this development on his Telegram page.
During their meeting, the two parties discussed mechanisms to explore the untapped opportunities in the bilateral relations between their countries.
"The Ministries of Foreign Affairs should act as the driving force in our relations, particularly in achieving concrete economic outcomes. We wish the ambassador success in her career in our country," stated Bakhtiyor Saidov.
It is worth noting that earlier, Saidov also received Abdul Ghaffar Teravi, the new ambassador appointed by the Taliban.
