Nigmatilla Yuldashev, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan, has been re-elected as the chairman of the Wrestling Federation of Uzbekistan for a new term. UzA reported this.
The election took place during the next report-election conference of the Wrestling Federation of Uzbekistan, which was held at the Ministry of Sports. During the conference, the organizational issues were addressed, and Nigmatilla Yuldashev was re-elected as chairman of the Wrestling Federation for another five-year term following a vote by the delegates.
The conference, which was attended by officials from the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regional wrestling federations, relevant experts, and delegates, highlighted the systematic efforts made to develop wrestling in the country, support its growth on the international stage, and establish the necessary infrastructure.
It is also worth noting that, according to the decision of the 53rd plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, adopted on June 21 of this year, Nigmatilla Yuldashev was reappointed as Prosecutor General for a five-year term.
