Another bus accident reported in Navoi

On January 31, an Isuzu vehicle overturned in Tomdi district of Uzbekistan’s Navoi region, according to the regional Road Traffic Safety Department.

The incident occurred on the international A-379 highway, between the 192nd and 193rd kilometers, as the Isuzu vehicle, belonging to one of the enterprises, was traveling along the Navoi–Zarafshan route. Preliminary information indicates that the vehicle left the roadway after the driver became distracted.

It was clarified that the vehicle involved was not a public passenger bus. No injuries or fatalities were reported as a result of the accident. The Navoi Regional Department of Internal Affairs’ Road Traffic Safety Division is currently conducting additional investigations into the incident.

It is worth noting that another bus overturned in Navoi region on January 17, leaving two people injured. Earlier, a separate accident in Tomdi district involving a bus carrying 47 passengers resulted in two fatalities.
