A driver was killed in an explosion at a mine in Navoi

One person died as a result of blasting operations at the mine belonging to the Navoi Mine Metallurgical Combine.  This was reported by the regional prosecutor's office.

On 26 November of the current year, the cabin of the EKG-40 excavator, which was engaged in the extraction of ore stones, fell into the cab of the EKG-40 excavator, which was engaged in the extraction of ore stones in the "Sharqi" mine belonging to the Northern Mining Department of the "Navoi mining-metallurgical combine" joint-stock company.

As a result, the driver Sh.Sh., who was in the cabin, was injured and died on the spot.

Also, T.M., the driver's assistant in the EKG-40 excavator cab received 1st and 2nd degree burns to his neck and the palm of his right hand.  

According to the prosecutor's office, investigations are being carried out in connection with this situation.  A forensic medical examination was appointed.
