Deputy governor of Navoi region is appointed

Jamshid Bakhtiyorovich Khojayev was appointed to the position of deputy governor of Navoi region for youth policy, social development and spiritual and educational affairs.  This was reported by the information service of the Navoi city administration.

Jamshid Khojayev was born on June 3, 1987 in Kyziltepa district of Navoi region.  Higher education.  In 2008, he graduated from Navoi Pedagogical Institute, majoring in the idea of national independence.  Jamshid Khojayev is a member of the Youth, Culture and Sports Committee of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

Until today, he worked in various positions in a number of state bodies, including in the regional council of the “Kamolot” youth social movement in 2008-2017.  In 2017-2020, Khojayev was the chairman of the Regional Council of the Youth Union, in 2020-2021, the head of the Navoi Region Department of the Youth Affairs Agency, and on December 23, 2021, he became the first deputy of the director of the Youth Affairs Agency, Alisher Sadullayev.

For information, Jamshid Khojayev replaced Yashin Dushanov, who has been working in this position since May 2020.
