6498Earlier, videos circulated on social media claiming that a student at School No. 30 in the Namangan district was beaten by teachers, resulting in a broken tooth. The regional Department of Preschool and School Education launched an investigation into the incident.
The investigation concluded that the teachers did not beat the student. It was found that on January 28, 2025, an 11th-grade student was called to order by a physical education teacher for inappropriate behavior in the schoolyard. In response, the student attempted to raise his hand to the teacher and accidentally hit the entrance door with his face.
The student, known for frequently skipping classes, was placed under internal supervision at the school. It was also reported that on March 4, 2024, the student committed an administrative offense by fighting on school grounds, leading to a fine for his mother, equivalent to one minimum wage, under Part 1 of Article 47 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
Law enforcement agencies are currently investigating the case.
For context, it is worth noting that in November 2024, another student sustained a broken nose in a separate incident at a school in Tashkent.
