Jealous husband orchestrates murder plot against neighbor in Namangan region

In a shocking turn of events, a jealous husband from the Torakorgan district in the Namangan region has been apprehended for allegedly hiring an assassin to kill his neighbor. The incident came to light after the Regional Internal Affairs Department received a report on June 2 of this year, according to the regional IIB Information Service.

The 29-year-old resident of Torakorgan district approached the head of the Regional Internal Affairs Department, claiming that he suspected his wife of having an affair with their neighbor. In a desperate attempt to seek revenge, he asked an acquaintance to find someone to murder his neighbor. The suspect was willing to pay the hired killer a staggering sum of $1,000 for the job.

Following the complaint, a swift and collaborative investigation was launched on June 7. The Regional IIB Rapid Investigation Service, along with the Criminal Investigation Department, the regional prosecutor's office, and other law enforcement personnel, worked together to address the gravity of the situation.

To stage the event, the applicant and the intended victim were involved in a meticulously planned operation. A fake assassin was hired, and expert makeup artists created an artificial wound on the victim's face. Photos and videos were captured showing the victim with hands and feet bound, providing evidence to present to the client. Subsequently, the accused arrived at the designated location with the promised payment and handed over a kitchen knife, instructing the hired killer to return it after the job was completed.

However, the law enforcement operation sprang into action just as the supposed murder was about to take place. Operatives from the mobilization squad of the Regional Internal Affairs Department and the Criminal Investigation Department intercepted the scene, successfully preventing any harm.

In response to the severity of the situation, the regional prosecutor's office initiated a criminal case under Article 25-97, Part 1 of the Criminal Code. As a precautionary measure, the individual responsible for orchestrating the murder plot was detained in accordance with Article 221 of the Criminal Code.
