In the Namangan region, it was revealed that the medieval archaeological monument “O’rdatepa” was demolished, and a house was built in its place arbitrarily.  This is reported by the press service under the Prosecutor General’s Office.

It is noted that 0.03 hectares of the archaeological monument “O’rdatepa”, located in the neighborhood of Navkent, Yangikurgan district, by the citizen J.U. and 0.02 hectares of of the monument by the citizen A.Y. were demolished with the help of special equipment and in its place a house was built arbitrarily.

As a result, it was found that the historic monument suffered serious damage worth 72 billion soms.

It is noted that as a result of the investigation, a criminal case has been initiated and an investigation is underway.  Monitoring activities are being continued.
