In Namangan, a 25-year-old man beat his relative to death

A 25-year-old man killed his 36-year-old relative in Chortoq district of Namangan region.  This was reported by the Regional Department of Internal Affairs.

It is noted that the incident took place on 14 February of this year at approximately 21:00p.m. in one of the restaurants in Chortoq district.  The 25-year-old man had an argument with his relative and punched him once on the jaw, in anger.  After that, the victim was brought to the district central hospital.  Despite the medical assistance, he died in the hospital.  According to the forensic medical examination, the deceased died of an acute heart attack, respiratory failure, and swelling of the brain and lungs.

In connection with this situation, a criminal case was initiated against the citizen by the investigative unit of the Internal Affairs Department of Chortoq District under Article 104, Part 3, Clause “D” of the Criminal Code, and he was detained and imprisoned in accordance with Article 221 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
