Deputy Governor for social and educational affairs appointed in Namangan

Otabek Hasanboevich Bozorov has been appointed Deputy Governor of Namangan Region, responsible for youth policy, social development, and spiritual and educational affairs. This was reported by the regional government's press service.

According to a corresponding decision by the governor of Namangan Region, Otabek Bozorov will now oversee matters related to youth, social policy, and education in the region. Prior to this appointment, he served as Head of the Department for the Development of Science and Innovative Activities at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations from 2024.

For reference, Otabek Bozorov was born in 1984 in the Chartak district of Namangan Region. He graduated from Tashkent State Pedagogical University in 2007 and began his career in 2005 as a teacher at School No. 26 in the Zangiota district of Tashkent Region.

He later held various academic and governmental positions, including Senior Research Fellow at the National University of Uzbekistan; Head of the Department of Spiritual and Moral Education under the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education; Head of the Scientific Expertise Department at the Institute of Social and Spiritual Research under the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment; and Chief Consultant in the Department for the Development of National Values, Spirituality and Enlightenment under the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan.

It should be recalled that earlier, Gulomjon Sobithojaevich Murodhojaev was appointed mayor of Pop District in Namangan Region.
