New deputy governor for finance and economy named in Namangan Region

4182Namangan Region for Financial-Economic Development and Poverty Reduction. He will also serve as the head of the region’s Main Department of Economy and Finance, according to the regional administration’s press service.
Zuhriddin Bahriddinov was born in 1985 in the To‘raqo‘rg‘on district. He holds advanced degrees specializing in finance and public financial management. He graduated from the Andijan Institute of Engineering and Economics in 2006, Tashkent State University of Economics in 2008, and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Uzbekistan in 2020.
He began his career in 2007 as a specialist in the Ministry of Public Education's Department of Finance, Accounting, and Reporting. From 2008 to 2020, he held various positions within the Namangan Region's Department of Finance. Between 2020 and 2024, he served as the head of Namangan Region’s Main Department of Finance.
Before his recent appointment, he was the Director of the Department of Comprehensive Economic Development of Regions at the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Earlier, by the decision of the Acting Governor of Syrdarya Region, Erkinjon Turdimov, Fakhriddin Bakhtiyorovich Qo‘shoqov was appointed as the First Deputy Governor for Financial-Economic Development and Poverty Reduction and the head of Syrdarya Region’s Main Department of Economy and Finance.
