Traffic will be restricted on part of Mustaqillik Avenue for 12 days. The Tashkent Traffic Management Center reported this.
According to the center, construction and repair work will be carried out on Mustaqillik Avenue in Mirzo Ulugbek district in order to improve road infrastructure, further regulate traffic flow and create favorable conditions for public transport.
In this regard, from 01:00 on July 2, 2026, to 06:00 on July 13, the carriageway along Mustaqillik Avenue, from the intersection with Mirzo Ulugbek Street to Oqqo‘rg‘on Street, will be closed to vehicles.
It was noted that in order to reduce the traffic load, prevent congestion and minimize inconvenience for drivers, two-way traffic may be temporarily organized on the opposite carriageway during the construction work, depending on the traffic situation.
