The commission's chairman, Zayniddin Nizomkhojaev, shared the results today, October 28, during a press conference at the CEC.
The voter turnout was notably high, with 15,027,529 participants, accounting for 74.72% of eligible voters.
This election marked the first implementation of the majoritarian-proportional (mixed) system for the Legislative Chamber.
Under this system, 75 deputies in the lower house of parliament were elected through single-mandate constituencies, where voters select individual candidates. The remaining 75 seats were filled through proportional representation based on votes for political parties, as determined by party lists.
