Two Uzbek individuals were accused of raping a woman in Moscow

14771The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Moscow has opened a criminal case regarding the rape of a woman in northwest Moscow, as reported by TASS referencing the administration.
"A criminal case has been initiated under Article 131, Part 2, Clause 'a' of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (rape committed by a group of persons)," the statement reads.
According to the investigation, on the night of June 20, two men violently attacked and raped an unknown woman near a house on Stratonavtov Street in Moscow.
"Currently, two citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan have been arrested, and a criminal case has been initiated against them," the capital's Investigation Department reported.
During the investigation, the suspects confessed to their guilt and confirmed their statements during an on-site examination of the evidence.
Forensic medical and forensic-psychiatric examinations have been ordered in connection with the case. The investigation will also check the defendants' compliance with current migration laws.
Additionally, it is worth noting that an Uzbek man was recently arrested on a beach in Moscow, accused of molesting two minor girls. The incident occurred on June 16 at the "Beloe Ozero" beach on Zaozernoy Street. A 14-year-old girl, bathing with her 15-year-old friend, noticed someone touching her legs in the water.
The girl's mother reported the situation to a beach lifeguard and asked them to call the police. Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene and arrested a 23-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan.
