New Egyptian ambassador was appointed to Uzbekistan

1444Tamer Fathi Abdussalam Hammad has been appointed as the new ambassador of Egypt to Uzbekistan. The news was shared by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, on his Telegram channel.
It was highlighted that on October 18, Bakhtiyor Saidov welcomed Tamer Fathi Abdussalam Hammad and received copies of his credentials.
"The official visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Cairo last year laid a new foundation for promising cooperation. Undoubtedly, embassies play an important role in enriching the agenda of active and close relations. We wish the Ambassador to work effectively and successfully in Uzbekistan," said the minister.
It is also important to note that Amira Fahmi, the former ambassador of Egypt to Uzbekistan, has completed her diplomatic mission in the country.
