The image of Uzbekistan President appears on the cover of a popular Korean magazine

A special issue of The Korea Post, one of South Korea’s most popular publications, was released. The photo of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, was depicted on the cover of the magazine. The news agency ‘Jahon” (world) reports this.

A special issue of the magazine is dedicated to the year of mutual exchanges between the two countries, within the framework of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea.

The articles in the magazine emphasize that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s state visit to South Korea in December 2021 brought the two countries' relations to a qualitatively new level.

“The documents signed with the participation of the heads of state and delegations of the two countries are aimed at comprehensive development of mutually beneficial cooperation, wide celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, strengthening of friendly relations between the two peoples”- the magazine cites.

An article notes that the areas of «green» development, digitalization and strong social protection policy are defined as three important directions of a separate strategic partnership.

In addition, the materials published in this special issue analyze the current state of relations between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, as well as further directions.
