Mirziyoyev concludes his visit to Kazan

The productive and eventful visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kazan has come to an end, as reported by the President's press service.

Following the conclusion of the program, the President departed for Tashkent. He was seen off at the airport by the Chairman of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, along with other officials.

During the plenary session of the "BRICS Plus" summit, President Mirziyoyev proposed key initiatives aimed at advancing sustainable development and shared goals.

As part of the summit, President Mirziyoyev held meetings and discussions with several leaders, including Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vietnamese Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính, and Tatarstan Chairman Rustam Minnikhanov. He also met with Dilma Rousseff, President of the New Development Bank, and German Gref, Chairman of the Board of Sberbank.

Additionally, President Mirziyoyev was honored with the state award of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Order of "Friendship," recognizing his significant contributions to strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tatarstan, and fostering friendship and mutual understanding between their peoples.
