Saida Mirziyoyeva meets Uzbeks working at international organizations

Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, met with Uzbeks working at international organizations in Vienna, the capital of Austria, yesterday, June 1. She announced this on her Telegram channel.

According to the Head of the Presidential Administration, Uzbeks working abroad are strengthening trust in their country through their hard work, knowledge and sense of responsibility. Despite being far from their homeland, they continue to maintain strong ties with Uzbekistan.

“Such meetings always evoke a special sense of pride. It is inspiring and pleasing to see our compatriots gaining their own voice and place on the international stage through their high professional skills and actively participating in solving global challenges,” Mirziyoyeva said.

She noted that it is very important to further expand the ranks of qualified specialists. Mirziyoyeva also said she would always support young Uzbeks who seek to gain international experience, grow professionally, and contribute to Uzbekistan and the world.

Earlier, Saida Mirziyoyeva met in Vienna with Monica Juma, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations and newly appointed Executive Director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime.
