Mirziyoyev and Putin's spokesmen meet in Moscow

On May 28, the Press Secretary to the President of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Asadov, met with Dmitry Peskov, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration and Press Secretary to the President of the Russian Federation, during the visit of the Uzbek delegation to Moscow. Asadov shared details of the meeting on his social media pages.

According to him, the two sides discussed current issues and future prospects for cooperation in the field of information and media, including the training of specialists in the sector.

“Particular attention was paid to coordinating the activities of the press services of the leaders of our countries, exchanging professional experience, and aligning approaches to strategic communications. The importance of enhancing staff qualifications in an ever-evolving media environment and the growing influence of digital platforms was emphasized,” Asadov wrote.

The parties also explored future plans, including the launch of joint initiatives on information policy and media support for the bilateral agenda. Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening open dialogue, professional cooperation, and strategic partnership.

It is worth noting that on the same day, May 28, Saida Mirziyoyeva — Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan and the eldest daughter of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev — met with Anton Vaino, Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation. The meeting took place at the invitation of the Russian side. The discussions focused on the current state and future prospects of Uzbek-Russian cooperation, which continues to develop at a dynamic pace and yield tangible results.
