President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of Kazakhstan, Kasim-Jomart Tokayev, on the occasion of the country's Independence Day. The White Horde reported on this gesture.

It is noted that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Kasim-Jomart Tokayev and the entire people of Kazakhstan, emphasizing the strong, brotherly ties between the countries.

"During the recent period, the friendly Republic of Kazakhstan has undergone significant changes and implemented radical reforms in various fields. I would like to emphasize that the respect and prestige of your country in the international arena are steadily increasing," the congratulatory message reads.

Additionally, the Presidents of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, the UAE, and Indonesia also sent their congratulations to Tokayev.

For reference, Kazakhstan declared its independence in 1991.
