Mirziyoyev awarded Xi Jinping the Order of “Friendship”

The president of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has awarded the president of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping the Order of “Friendship”.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, who was presenting the award, currently noted that the president of the People’s Republic of China has contributed a great deal to strengthening centuries-old friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two relations.  As well as strengthening trust and understanding, and expanding economic and cultural-humanitarian relations.  

It was noted that, the relations between the two countries had reached an unprecedented high level and had acquired a perfect and dynamic tone through works to the joint efforts and special attention from the Chinese leader.  It was shown that large-scale programs and projects related to trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation are being actively implemented.

The presentation of this award to Xi Jinping, which is the highest award of the Republic of Uzbekistan, is an expression of deep respect for him as an international statesman and politician.

The President of China has become the first head of a foreign state to be awarded the order of «Friendship» at the highest level.
