Mirziyoyev planted a tree with Xi Jinping

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping after fruitful negotiations, jointly planted a tree in the garden of the «Great Silk Road» international tourist center in Samarkand.

This friendship has become another symbol of joint efforts to strengthen relations of comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.

We recall that today, 15 September, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Xi Jinping held talks with official delegations.  As a result of the negotiations, agreements on trade, economic, investments, financial and technical cooperation for the implementation of priority projects totaling 15 billion dollars were signed.

Also, within the framework of the visit, 15 documents on investment cooperation, mineral exploitation, prevention and fight against corruption, construction and other areas were signed at the highest level.
