4762President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with Tajikistan's President Imamali Rahmon, as reported by the President's press service.
During the call, Mirziyoyev congratulated Rahmon on his birthday, wishing him good health, success in his future endeavors, and prosperity for the brotherly Tajik people.
The two leaders discussed current issues concerning the development of Uzbekistan-Tajikistan relations, emphasizing the importance of implementing high-level agreements. They highlighted the necessity of continued interdepartmental cooperation and active exchanges aimed at increasing trade volume and advancing collaborative projects in key sectors such as industry, energy, and agriculture.
