Mirziyoyev sent condolences to Putin

Earlier today, 26 September, we reported that an unknown person opened fire at school 88 in the city of Izhevsk, Russia in which 13 people were killed.  The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, expressed his condolences to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, regarding this situation that caused the death of a number of people.  Sherzod Asadov, press secretary of the President of Uzbekistan, provided information about this.

"President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent his condolences to President Vladimir Putin in connection with the shooting at the school in the city of Izhevsk, Russia.

"The head of our state expressed his deepest condolences to the family members and relatives of the deceased and wished the injured a speedy recovery," the report said.

We remind you that the shooting was committed by a 34-year-old local citizen, a graduate of this school.  According to the investigative committee, it is being investigated whether he is a supporter of the Nazi ideology.

13 people were victims of the crime, including 7 children.  21 people were injured, 14 of them were children.  According to the investigative committee, the man was wearing a black T-shirt with Nazi symbols and a balaclava.  The committee opened a criminal case on the incident.
