Today, July 3, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Astana to participate in the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the "SCO plus" meeting at the invitation of President of Kazakhstan, Kasim-Jomart Tokayev. This was reported by the press service of the government of Kazakhstan.
It was noted that he was met by the Prime Minister of the country, Oljas Bektenov, at Astana International Airport.
"Today, Uzbekistan is one of the largest trading partners of Kazakhstan. Last year, the volume of trade between the two countries amounted to about 4.5 billion dollars," the report added.
