Mirziyoyev holds talks with Trump at the White House

On November 6, as part of his official visit to Washington, D.C., President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House.

President Mirziyoyev first signed the White House Guest Book.

The leaders then held talks in the Oval Office, focusing on further developing the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States, strengthening political dialogue, and expanding trade, economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.

Special attention was given to implementing the agreements reached at the high-level meeting in New York in September.

They exchanged views on pressing global and regional issues, including deepening cooperation between Central Asia and the United States within the C5+1 framework.

President Mirziyoyev warmly congratulated Donald Trump on his achievements in domestic and foreign policy, highlighting his personal contribution to peacefully resolving complex international and regional conflicts.

Donald Trump praised the Uzbek leader for holding productive meetings and negotiations with U.S. government officials, leading companies, and financial institutions during his visit.

Both leaders emphasized the importance of establishing and improving institutional mechanisms to advance joint projects.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited President Trump to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan at a mutually convenient time.
