Mirziyoyev gave a reason for the conflicts and disruptions in the global economy

The unprecedented decrease in communication and trust in international relations undermines the foundations of multilateral cooperation in the world and leads to systemic disruptions in the global economy.  President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said this in his speech today, 13 October, at the sixth summit of the council on Cooperation and Confidence Building Measures in Asia in Astana.

At the beginning of his speech, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said that during the past period, this structure has shown itself to be extremely necessary as an important platform for broad and open dialogue on the issues of ensuring security, strengthening mutual trust, and sustainable development in Asia.  Uzbekistan expressed its readiness to participate in joint activities on the issue of transformation of the forum.

"Today, we are witnessing the growing uncertainty in international relations, and an unprecedented lack of communication and trust.

All this undermines the foundations of multilateral cooperation, causes the escalation of conflicts, and leads to systemic disruptions in the global economy.
The new geopolitical reality harms the stability of the entire Asian continent.

"Crises are directly affecting the countries of Central Asia, slowing down our efforts to deepen economic integration," says President Mirziyoyev.
