Mirziyoyev departs for Moscow

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has embarked on a business visit to Moscow today, October 7, as reported by the President's press service.
During his stay in Moscow from October 7-8, President Mirziyoyev will participate in the upcoming summit of the leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
It is worth noting that earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov mentioned that Russian President Vladimir Putin, who turns 72 today, will spend his birthday at work. Peskov also noted that on the evening of October 7, Putin will meet with the leaders of the CIS countries.
