Mirziyoyev Sends his Condolences to Modi

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of the Republic of Uzbekistan has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to President Draupadi Murmu of India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the wake of the tragic railway accident in the state of Odisha.  The incident resulted in the loss of numerous lives and left many others injured.

President Mirziyoyev expressed his profound sympathies to the grieving families and extended his wishes for a swift recovery to those who were injured.

To recap the unfortunate event, on the 2nd of June at approximately 7:00 AM, a devastating collision between three trains occurred in Odisha, claiming the lives of 288 individuals and causing injuries to at least 900 people.  The collision led to the derailment of one passenger train, as well as the derailed carriages of a passenger and freight train that were traveling in opposite directions.
