Shavkat Mirziyoyev offers condolences for victims of Guizhou disaster

Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has sent condolences to Chinese President Xi Jinping following the tragic accident in Guizhou Province, which resulted in multiple fatalities and injuries. The statement was confirmed by presidential press secretary Sherzod Asadov.
Mirziyoyev expressed deep sorrow for the victims, offering sympathies to their families and loved ones, and wishing a swift recovery for those injured.
On May 4, around 16:00 local time, four boats capsized in a river in southwestern Guizhou, due to strong winds. At least 10 people lost their lives, while 84 individuals fell into the water during the disaster.
