Mirziyoyev meets with a member of the political bureau of the communist party of China

Today, September 5, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation from the People's Republic of China led by Chen Miner, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Secretary of the Party Committee of Tianjin. This was reported by the President's press service.
At the beginning of the meeting, Chen Miner conveyed greetings from the President of the PRC, Xi Jinping, to President Mirziyoyev. The discussions focused on deepening multifaceted cooperation and practical partnership between Uzbekistan and China, particularly within the framework of active interregional dialogue, as outlined in high-level agreements.
Special attention was also given to advancing cooperation projects with leading companies in Tianjin, spanning trade, industry, "green" energy, construction and infrastructure modernization, agriculture, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and other sectors. The importance of expanding exchange programs in innovation, education, and culture was emphasized.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to adopt a "road map" for mutually beneficial cooperation between the regions of Uzbekistan and the city of Tianjin.
