Today, on 29 March, a meeting is being held between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the PRC delegation headed by Ma Xinjui, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the secretary of the Party Committee of the SHUAR Communist Party. This was reported by the press secretary of the President, Sherzod Asadov.
It is noted that the parties will be discussing the development of practical cooperation with Xinjiang-Uyghur Autonomous Region, one of the largest and leading regions of China.
The agenda includes the development of renewable energy, transport infrastructure and logistics, the establishment of industrial parks and agricultural clusters, as well as the discussion of cooperation prospects in the fields of education, health and culture.
