Mirziyoyev arrives in Kazakhstan

Today, August 7, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Kazakhstan on a state visit at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. This was reported by the press service of the President of Kazakhstan.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was received at Astana airport by President Tokayev.
As part of the visit, high-level bilateral negotiations are planned, along with the signing of several important documents. Additionally, the leaders of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will convene the first meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council in Astana. Tomorrow, the initial session of the Supreme Interstate Council will take place under the chairmanship of the two countries' leaders.
During the negotiations, issues related to deepening the Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan strategic partnership and alliance, expanding cooperation in politics, trade and economy, investment, transport and communication, energy, agriculture, and cultural-humanitarian spheres will be discussed in detail.
Furthermore, Shavkat Mirziyoyev is expected to participate in the upcoming consultative meeting of Central Asian leaders and the first dialogue in the "Central Asia + Japan" format.
