Mirziyoyev congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.  This was reported by the Press Service of the President of Uzbekistan.

“I am very happy to sincerely congratulate you on the important date in the history of our relations – the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, and send my best wishes.  The good neighborliness and close cooperation of our countries are an important foundation for the common prosperity and development of our peoples, who have been living side by side for centuries, peacefully and harmoniously, with common roots and blood relations, as well as for the peace and stability of our region," said President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The head of state also emphasized the great contribution of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the comprehensive expansion of cooperation between the countries, to the promotion of strategic partnership based on mutual respect and trust.

“Permanent open and reliable dialogues established between you and us, the creation of effective mechanisms regulating our interstate relations serve as a solid foundation for further strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation in all priority areas.  As a result of your far-sighted, reasonable domestic and foreign policy, today Turkmenistan is achieving great achievements and milestones in all aspects, the well-being of the population is constantly increasing, and the country’s reputation in the international arena is rising,” the congratulation reads.

In addition, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said that the personal participation of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the summit of the Organization of Turkic States held in Samarkand on 11 November last year and the awarding of the “Highest Order of the Turkic World” increased the significance of the conference.

At the end of the congratulation, Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished the national leader of the Turkmen nation, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, good health, family happiness, great success, and peace, continued development and prosperity to the brotherly Turkmen people.
