The world is witnessing a rapid change in the international order, the consequences of which are difficult to predict.  The president of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said this in his speech at the fourth consultative meeting of the leaders of the Central Asian countries.

"We are witnessing a growing lack of communication and trust on a global scale," says Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev also touched upon the problems arising from the global economic crisis.

"Due to the intensification of the crisis in the world economy, our countries are facing the problems of disrupting traditional supply chains, import inflation is increasing, and the risks of ensuring food and energy security have increased several times.

In such circumstances, the demand for improved coordination and efficiency of multilateral cooperation within the framework of consultative meetings is increasing," says Mirziyoyev.

According to the president of Uzbekistan, the peace, stability and well-being of the entire region depends on the mutual solidarity of the neighboring countries and their willingness to take decisive measures to protect the common interests of Central Asia.
