Mirziyoyev got acquainted with a new textile enterprise in Boston

As we previously reported, today, 1 February, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev went to Andijan. The visit of the head of state started from the Boston district. The President became acquainted with the activities of the newly launched textile enterprise in the district.  This was reported by the Presidential Press Service.

The building was constructed within the framework of the project with a total cost of 113 billion soms for the enterprise, and modern equipment was brought from Turkey and installed.  More than 50 types of ready-made knitted products for men, women, and children, 1 million 200 thousand pieces per year, have been produced here.

About a thousand residents were provided with jobs.

Most of the company's products are exported.  The annual export volume is planned to be 4 million dollars.

An educational center for professional retraining was established here.  Unemployed citizens of the region are learning a trade and finding their way there.  In particular, recently 200 needy women were trained and employed.

It is reported that in the conversation with them, the President emphasized that it is a great achievement of the family for a woman to be educated and skilled.
