Mirziyoyev attends the World Boxing Championship

Today, the 13th of May, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the World Boxing Championship at the “Humo Arena” sports complex. The head of state watched the final matches which included a number of Uzbek boxers. This was reported by the press secretary of the President, Sherzod Asadov.
In a video posted by Asadov, you can see his son Alisher, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, Tashkent Mayor Shavkat Umrzakov next to the President.
It is worth noting that on 13th May, in the final fight of the World Boxing Championship among adults, Asadkhoja Moydinkhojayev entered the ring against Kazakhstani boxer Dulat Bekbauov in the - 67 kg weight category. Asadkhoja won 5-0 over his opponent from Kazakhstan and won the first medal of the championship.
