Mirziyoyev visits Bahauddin Naqshband mausoleum

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev went to Bukhara region.  As usual, the head of state started his visit by visiting Bahauddin Naqshband mausoleum.  This was reported by the President’s press service.

It is noted that during the pilgrimage, verses of the Qur’an were recited, prayers were recited asking Allah to thank the deceased and wish peace and prosperity to Uzbekistan.

In the conversation with the religious scholar, they talked about the education and upbringing of the youth, the Islamic enlightenment, and the importance of protecting the youth from the influence of foreign ideas, supporting their employment, and paying special attention to needy families was emphasized.

Also, the planned construction and repair project around the complex was considered.  According to him, restoration of the historical corridor leading to Bahauddin Naqshband mausoleum from Taqi miyona gate, repair of Daniyolbi madrasa, establishment of ablution hall and museum are planned.

The head of state gave instructions on expanding the conditions for pilgrimage tourism, direct flights from abroad to Bukhara, establishment of a hotel, and beautification of the cemetery.
