Mirziyoyev hosts Sadir Japarov at “Amirsoy” resort

On January 25, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan held an informal meeting with Kyrgyz President Sadir Japarov at the "Amirsoy" resort complex, as reported by the Uzbek presidential press service. The visit provided an opportunity for the two leaders to discuss a range of issues in a relaxed and constructive setting.  

During their discussions, the presidents exchanged views on pressing matters concerning bilateral relations, international politics, and regional cooperation. Their dialogue reflected a shared commitment to strengthening ties and addressing mutual challenges.  

President Japarov commended the "Amirsoy" resort for its exceptional facilities and modern infrastructure, noting that it meets the highest global standards. His remarks underscored the region's potential for becoming a premier destination for winter tourism.  

The leaders agreed on the importance of promoting joint initiatives aimed at establishing resort and recreation centers in both Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. These projects will leverage the two countries' unique geographical features and diverse natural landscapes, offering new opportunities for tourism development and economic collaboration.
